Welcome to the Culver Archaeological Project
The Culver Archaeological Project began in the summer of 2005, launched in the wake of extensive excavations at the nearby Barcombe Roman Villa. From humble beginnings, the project has since flourished and now operates an annual season of open excavation and survey from our base at Culver Farm in Sussex. The season will start on Monday 31st May 2010 till 10th July 2010.
The Culver Archaeological Project can so far count a Roman Road, Roman industry, Bronze Age Cremations, water-logged wood and a Mesolithic flint site among its numerous successes.
